Privacy

This page explains what the Studio ArchLens website collects, why, who handles it and how long it is kept.

Who is responsible

Studio ArchLens is responsible for the information sent through this website. The owner and operator, and the person accountable for it, is Ali Lotfi.

Privacy questions and requests: [email protected].

What the inquiry form collects

Required: name, email address and a message. Optional: firm or company, project type, location, preferred timing and intended use of the photographs.

The visible form asks for nothing else. Please do not send access codes, keys or private documents through it.

Visiting the website does not require an account, and the site has no sign-in.

How it is used

The information is used to reply to the inquiry and, if a project follows, to prepare and carry out the proposal. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe anyone to marketing messages.

How the form is handled

When an inquiry is sent, the browser submits it to Formspree, the form service that delivers it by email to the studio's mailbox ([email protected], a Gmail address).

Formspree and the email provider handle the information under their own terms, privacy policies and retention practices, which are separate from the studio's and are not controlled by it.

How long it is kept

Inquiries that do not lead to a project: the studio keeps them for up to 12 months and then deletes them.

Inquiries that lead to a project, and the related proposals, agreements and correspondence: kept for as long as the studio needs them to carry out the work and to meet its business, contractual and legal requirements.

This describes the studio's own practice. Copies held by service providers follow their own retention periods.

Cookies, analytics and third parties

The website's own pages set no cookies, use no analytics or advertising tools and load no third-party scripts or fonts. Fonts are served from this website.

The only exchange with another service is the one described above, when an inquiry is sent.

Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most web hosts, the hosting service may process technical information about each request, such as the IP address and the time of the request, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure.

What such logs contain and how long they are kept is determined by the hosting provider's own policies, not by the studio.

Access, correction and deletion

To ask what information the studio holds about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email [email protected]. Requests relating to copies held by Formspree, the email provider or the host may also need to be made to those providers.
